The Rotary Club of Cocoa Beach: Projects and Causes- International Service
The club’s international service is inspired by Rotary International’s Areas of Focus.
We serve internationally by sponsoring or volunteering on international projects, seeking partners abroad, and more.
Recent examples of international club service are provided below.

The club supports the Ak’Tenamit school in Guatemala, which provides rural-appropriate, hands-on education with the goal of helping students find employment and live a better life. The Rotary Club of Cocoa Beach raised funds to help construct a new dormitory, and club members spent a week in Guatemala building furniture, painting murals, and teaching the students CPR. Additional trips are planned for next year. For more information about the school and its non-profit, The Guatemala Tomorrow fund, visit https://thegtfund.org/

Another day of travel begins with howling alarms all over Ukraine. The news is so devastating…” –Zupa na Monciaku
The club has worked with Rotary District 6930 to secure two $25,000 Rotary International grants for Ukraine humanitarian aid. These funds were sent to our partner non-profit in Poland- Zupa na Monciaku. This charity purchases food, hospital supplies, and other essential items to help the civilian population recover from Russian attacks and to prepare for the coming winter, and then risk their lives to deliver this essential humanitarian aid deep within the conflict zone.
